Mission
Statement

To provide training that offers law abiding citizens the opportunity to become safe and proficient in the use of firearms.

Both CCW courses are approved by Riverside County. Approved CCW Training in Banning, Beaumont, Hemet, and Murrieta.

Permit Course

The cost of the course is $225.00 and is approximately 8 hours in length. This includes your range fees.

You can qualify with up to 3 handguns for the course at no extra charge.

Approximately 300 rounds of ammo for the basic pistol portion of the class and 36 rounds for each additional gun you want to qualify with.

The shooting portion covers:

  • Basic marksmanship fundamentals
  • Proper weapon draw
  • Malfunction and other pistol drills.

The shooting portion is conducted outside usually in the morning.

The afternoon portion is a PowerPoint presentation that covers California DOJ guidelines concerning firearms.

The shooting and lecture portion are both approximately 4 hours in length.

Permit Renewal Course

The cost of the course is $150.00 and is approximately 4 hours in length. This includes your range fees.

You can qualify with up to 5 handguns for the course at no extra charge.

Approximately 36 rounds for each gun for qualification.

The shooting portion covers:

  • Basic marksmanship fundamentals
  • Proper weapon draw
  • Malfunction drills.

 

For Both Courses

You need a holster, magazine holder, at least 2 magazines but 3 is better, eye & ear protection.

An outside the waistband holster similar to a Safariland GLS model or Blade-tech Signature style holsters.

Wear a good belt that doesn’t roll over when you add the equipment to it. (Leather/nylon)

Individuals must have the pistols registered to them to be documented on the range qualification sheet.

Bring food, snacks and water for yourself along with a hat and sunscreen.

Utah Concelaled Firearm Permit

Concealed Firearm Permit Class

This is a 4 hour class and does not involve live fire. It covers what you need to know to submit your application for the Utah Non-Resident CFP. The Utah Non-Resident CFP is recognized in 31 states.

Active Shooter

This course is designed as an informational awareness course for everyday citizens and professionals caught in an active shooter scenario.

This course covers brief history on active shooter incidents, immediate actions taken by citizens, what can be done to survive the situation.

In addition the course will cover how you can prepare for yourself and family if you are ever caught in an active shooter situation.

  3. Type 3 failure to Extract (Double feed)
  4. Type 4 Catastrophic (Gun equals club, Transition to alternate firearm)

Qualification Challenge

  1. 5-yard line 5 rounds
  2. 10-yard line 5 rounds
  3. 15 yard line 5 rounds
  4. 20-yard line 3 rounds

 

Class Requirements

  1. No Felons/people who are restricted from owning or possessing firearms
  2. Firearm in good working condition
  3. Dump pouch
  4. Eye protection
  5. Hearing protection Howard Leight Impact Sport Electronic/Peltor electronic preferably
  6. Basic first aid kit
  7. Able to stand for 50 minutes at a time
  8. Bring lunch
  9. Chair
  10. Round count = 150 #7-1/2 Shot, 50 #4 buck, 25 slug
  11. All drills conducted at crawl/walk speed
  12. Time = 6-8 hours with lecture
  13. Price = $0

  6. Shooting drills, Controlled Pair, Hammer Drill, Failure drill
  7. Shooting on the move: Lateral movement, forward and rear movement
  8. Shooting positions: Standing, Kneeling and Prone
  9. Shooting from a barricade position, Cover vs Concealment
  10. Qualification Challenge 90% or better

Class requirements

  2. Proper belt that won’t bend over when equipment is attached
  3. Magazine holder
  4. 3 magazines
